8:30am – 1:30pm

Category: Churchwide

A team from Capital will partner with the Baptist Children’s home for a workday at the Kennedy Home in Kinston. Lunch is provided by the Home. A variety of tasks will be available, include raking leaves, putting out pine straw, painting, small repairs and otherwise sprucing up the place. This is a great missions project for the entire family but we do welcome unaccompanied minors who are at least rising 6th graders.

Directions to the Kennedy Home

We will gather at the church office parking lot no later than 7:00 a.m. to depart by 7:15 if you are interested in a carpool or caravan to Kinston.

After the workday concludes there will be an opportunity to tour the Historic Cedar Dell Home on the grounds of Kennedy Home. A picture of this historic landmark constructed in 1832 is attached. If you are interested in touring the home please check the appropriate box when you register.

This will be a great time helping Kennedy Home meet their mission of, “Sharing hope…changing lives.” You will receive more than you give on that day.
