Baby dedication is a public commitment made before God, the church, and the baby’s family. The dedication service provides an opportunity for the parents to express publically a desire to lead and spiritually nurture their child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, praying that one day the child might trust Jesus Christ as their Savior.
