2020 Cove Retreat

It is with a heavy heart that we are needing to cancel The Cove Men's Retreat, scheduled for next week. We will begin the process of issuing full refunds next week, either by the card on file and/or by check in the mail.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We will be in touch soon as we plan and prepare for 2021.

Pastor Grant at Capital Community Church  reminded us earlier this week that God orchestrates all of this according to the counsel of His will (Eph. 1:11), and we know “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling” (Psalm 46:1-3)."

As the people of God, let us pray for his protection and healing during this time. God cares and loves his people (Luke 12:7), and we can trust and have confidence that He is guiding our every step.

In Christ,

The Cove Leadership Team

This three-day men's retreat is in the North Carolina Mountains at the Billy Graham Training Center, near Ashville, NC and is comprised of great teaching, worship, rest, recreation, reflection, and food.

Committed to serving Christ with his life, he graduated from the University of TX at Austin, and Southwestern Seminary, in Ft Worth. He is the Lead Pastor of Providence Church, in Frisco, TX, and travels the world proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in churches, conferences, and mission efforts of training Iranian pastors. Carl_CarteeCarl Cartee wrote his first song at the age of 7, considering music more of a second language than an acquired skill. His catalog of songs and studio albums have garnered him a Dove award as well as tracks on the albums of artists including Elevation Worship, Laura Story, Aaron Schust, Selah, Jaci Valesquez, Big Daddy Weave, The Martins, NewSpring Worship, Finding Favour, LifeWay Worship, The Gaither Vocal Band, Rory & Joey, The Oakridge Boys, FFH, Travis Cottrell and over 150 songs cut by other artists.

A life that started playing music and leading worship in the local church fostered a deep affection the Church and for writing songs for her to sing. No matter where the road leads, it’s never far away from a place to serve and give in the body of Christ. Carl has written and recorded thirteen albums over the last 18 years and performed with artists Third Day, Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman but is most grateful for opportunities to lead and serve at churches like Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, TN and to found the Inspire Worship Conference, an annual event that trains and equips church worship leaders.
